Such expectations vary largely in many aspects of human life including dressing, talking, eating and so on. Any contradiction to these unwritten expectations is met with disapproval from the general public, and is viewed as strange. Dressing code is one of the most observable aspects of an individual, and each person is generally expected to dress as per gender affiliation. Ladies are basically meant to be appealing in their dress code. It should basically be highly sexualized, regardless of sexual behavior of the individual. In this case, one may not be judged as to being sexually active from the clothing they have put on. Primarily, I would say that appearance is the basic consideration when a lady is choosing what to wear. This restricts women to certain styles of dressing that are attractive, and sometimes give a forum to be rather naughty, especially for the younger generation.
